Andrew the AquaMan

This evening, Andrew discovered the joy of blowing bubbles in the bathtub water. Now he thinks this is the coolest thing in the world (even better than piling all the cats' food in their water bowl).  Unfortunately, he hasn't yet learned that he must lift his face out of the water to breathe; so, Sue Ann lifted him up every few seconds so he could catch a breath and giggle before thrusting his face back into the water.  Aside from the tinge of fear that accompanies watching small children play fearlessly in the water, it is a joy to see him discover his ability to create bubbles. (Not to mention that it helps clean out his nose right before bedtime.)

Welcome!

Howdy folks!  Our little placid bundle of joy has transformed into a whirlwind of motion, laughter and dirt. As Andrew has rapidly graduated from crawling to walking to running (and soon to talking), we've been searching for ways to share stories and provide general updates on the happenings of the Patterson Clan in the Borderland.  

Several of our friends really like blogspot, so we thought we'd give it a trial run.  Please feel free to post comments about an individual blog when the urge strikes you.  To post a comment, you will need to enter a username and password.  For those of you who would rather not create an account, we have provided a generic username and password for you to use (see original email). We will continue to share most of our photos through Kodak Gallery so that Sue Ann can purchase them for her scrapbooks; but, we will also post our favorite photos on this site.
