On An Odyssey

This morning, when Sue Ann came out of the daycare after dropping off the kids, the row of parking spaces in front of the school was filled, almost exclusively, with silverish-colored Honda Odyssey mini-vans. Sue Ann couldn't remember at which end she had parked, so she had to go on an odyssey to find her Odyssey. 

Kisses

Before going down for his nap today, Andrew stuck out his face and asked Mommy for "kisses."  It made it really hard for me to be mad at him for throwing his binkies behind his bed.

A Word For Ms. Julie

We just wanted to take a minute to say a word for Ms. Julie, one of the kids' teachers at school. Ms. Julie works in the baby room and she just loooves her babies.  She is very fond of Andrew and Sarah and I've never had a single doubt about leaving them with her. 

Ms. Julie has three children who are the absolute lights of her life. Unfortunately, Ms. Julie's son was killed in a car accident last week. He was 24, about to graduate from college, and his first child will be born in September.  We are saddened by this loss and want to send our warmest wishes to Julie and her family.
