Retail Asst #1 to Retail Asst #2 as they both stare at the 3rd pair of capris I had tried on: "I don't think she's a size (insert my pre-preggo size), I think she's a size (insert one size smaller)."
Retail Asst #2: "She's *totally* a size (insert aforementioned smaller size)."
Me: (gasping and falling to my knees): "You guys are my new BFFs! Say it again! Please!!!"

Recommends the app SmackTalk. It's a pic of a guinea pig that repeats everything you say in a rodent voice (your device has to have a mic). Andrew just brought the iTouch to me and was giggling so hard I couldn't understand him. Finally, he said, "Mom, make this noise (snorts like big pig)--make that noise at the rat!" (all of which was promptly repeated by the rodent and we were both reduced to crippling laughter).

My Hands Want To Bring This Home
Andrew saw a toy he wanted at Walgreens today (shocker!). I told him 'no' and he said, "but-but-but my hands *really* want to bring this toy home." Again, I told him we would not be buying any toys and he said, "well . . . 'my hands' are going to bring this home, Mom." (Sigh). I finally had to have a talk with his hands.

Charlene Schultz-Miles my daughter would hide baloons and candy bars in her panties and we get out to the car and her sister would tell on her "Mom Melisa has baloons in her Panties" we would make a trip back to the store so funny now but not when I had to teach a Lesson! enjoy all these days they pass all too quickly!

wo things you need to know: Andrew is home sick for the third day with a fever. And, lately, he's been getting a lot of time-outs for sticking out his tongue and spraying spit everywhere. So, last night, we were preparing ourselves for another round of "tackle Andrew and force some Tylenol down his gullet" and he yelled out, "Sarah! Spit at Mom!" LOL!

Elaine Dittmer mmmmm spitting becomes irresistible, at least for the boys I've known at around age 4 or so. You probably now understand why civilized parents turned their kids over to nannies when they could afford it. Lots of the work in raising kids is undignified, to say the least.

Mister Steamy (picture)
This sounds pretty gimmicky, but my disdain for ironing compelled me to buy one anyway. They really do work! I Highly suggest it (even though it sounds like you have a cannonball in your dryer). I found them locally at Bed, Bath & Beyond.
