Halloween was a smashing success for the kids. Sarah hung out in the stroller all night and Andrew, who wore his dinosaur costume all of 20 minutes, hung out in the bounce house (despite our attempts to remove him from it). He especially enjoyed lying down in the bounce house and letting the other (bigger) kids bounce him around. Luckily no one jumped on his head.
After the carnival, Daddy and Sarah handed out candy while Mommy and Andrew collected it from the neighbors. Andrew didn't quite grasp the concept of Trick-or-Treating--when the person opened the front door, he just ran beneath the candy bowl and into the house. Good thing he's cute!
The rest of the weekend was somewhat of a bust. UT lost to Texas Tech , Sue Ann broke the shower head, Andrew's schedule was messed up from all the excitement on Friday night and Sarah got an eye infection. The end of daylight savings time is an evil thing for parents of small children. To most people, it translates into an extra hour of sleep (aaah, the good ole days) but for parents of small children, it just means an extra hour of Spongebob (a very early hour, I might add).
