Andrew is about half the height of Sue Ann (she's so short, though, I'm not sure that means much). He's talking a lot and repeats everything, which means we've had to clean up our act a little. His words are becoming very clear, which makes it easier for us to say "no, you can't have that." And you can guess what comes next. Yes, we're also dealing with whining and crying a lot these days. Nonetheless, we're glad he's using his words. He's still in diapers, but we have procured an Elmo potty seat that screams out congratulatory phrases in English, Spanish and French. Muy Bien!
Sarah is already 9 months old! She's not quite mobile yet, although she scoots exceptionally well. We're trying to encourage her to crawl, but she flips over almost immediately and laughs in our faces. We've learned to be patient with the milestones and appreciate the fact that she can't get far if we leave her unattended for a few moments. She's babbling and flirting a lot (which she finds quite effective because she inherited her Daddy's uber-long eyelashes). Teeth: she has only 2 at this point, but can still annihilate a teething biscuit. She also refuses to hold her bottle. She knows how to grab it, but the moment it's in her mouth, she kicks back and enjoys the meal. Except for the fact that she's so intensely interested in everything, I'd predict that she'll be a leisure mammal like her Momma.
Now that all my friends' kids are out of school for the summer, they're just not facebook-ing as much. So, I hope to get more blogging done. Hope everyone is doing well out there!
