Needs wine. I might have to break my not-until-5pm rule. Just for today. (Yes, I know, I know . . . and those other days, too.)

I just had a thought that was so quintessentially "me" that I had to laugh. I should probably be embarrassed to admit this, but after reading my friend's post about the royal wedding, I thought, "Oh yea, the royal wedding. Is that thing today?" LOL!

Hollie Wood Blair It's called "motherhood"!!! Perspectives about what to spend your time on change drastically, don't they? I was thinking how only a moron would get up at 4 am to watch it!!!

Elaine Dittmer I called a doctor's office and the person asked me if I was watching, duh. The whole office was watching! and I don't have kids as an excuse. senility maybe?

Eliz Wiggins I totally understand. While I think they are a cute couple I really don't care about their wedding. I have enough going on in my life, like reading your hilarious posts!

So we're watching G-Force and Andrew says, "Maybe they have guinea pigs at PetSmart and maybe we can bring them home! The super hero ones!" Mmm-Hmm. That's exactly what I need. Super hero rodents living in my house. :)

is having a pretty good day. We're on day 1 of "Sarah Sans Diapers," Andrew actually *asked* me to take his picture instead of turning away, I was able to fit into a dress I haven't been able to wear since 2004 (which doesn't mean I *should* have worn it, but . . . LOL!), and I got to speak briefly with Leigh Anne Tuohy from The Blind Side. All those things=Supah Cool! Especially the "no diapers" thing. :)

Sue Ann Andrews Amanda, she was visiting El Paso to speak at the fundraiser luncheon for the Y. I wasn't so much into the Hollywood talk, but once she finished with that, she delivered a very powerful message. And the sans diaper thing . . . we're on day 2 and it's a little dicey. LOL!

Same routine. Every night. Same. Routine. Yet, the wee bairns are STILL shocked and devastated to learn that it's bedtime. Maybe I should save that last glass of wine for the post-story drama hour. :-X

Chattahoochie
Sarah has discovered that Daddy's phone also plays music. So she randomly picked an Alan Jackson song and began systematically restarting it after the first verse . . . "Way down yonder on the Chattahoochie, it gets hotter than a hoochie coochie . . . " After about the third time we heard this, Andrew said, "What's a hoochie coochie?" . . . "Uhhh . . . " (Rock, Paper, Scissors) . . . "You get to field this one, Dad."

Melanie Palmer Mims Funny thing ... I am 2 miles from the Chatahoochee! This year-- Chatahoochee High School = state champs. The Chatahoochee provides 2 of the borders for my Atlanta suburb. Who would have thought this Texas, non country fan, would have so much in common with an Alan Jacks

Lisa Anselmo really the lyrics contain "hoochie coochie"? Alan Jackson couldn't find something better to use to rhyme?

Elaine Dittmer The Hoochie coochie was a sexually provocative belly dance that became wildly popular during and after the Chicago World's Fair in 1893.[1] Described by the New York Journal in 1893 as "Neither dancing of the head nor the feet," What were YOU thinking?
