A Mid-Day Glass of Wine

loves it when I open a closet door to get supplies for a project and am overcome by the scent of cat pee. Suddenly, I have a new project. :) Between the cat pee and the kid pee, I'm seriously considering a mid-day glass of wine.

Where's the Dragon?

Andrew wanted to read a book of Fairy Tales at bedtime. I read one of the stories and showed him a picture of the prince and princess, pictured inside of a heart (you know, the "happily ever after" part). I said, "Look, Andrew, they're in love!" He looked at it, paused, and-in a very flat tone-asked, "Where is the dragon?"

Potty Practice

Sarah wants so badly to be a big girl. She waited her turn to get on the toilet (yes, the big toilet-Andrew won't use the little elmo potty), then she got up there, sat down and started looking at Andrew's special potty-time books. It took every last bit of restraint for me *not* to take a picture but there are just some things that shouldn't be photographed.

Charlene Schultz Miles Kim has both kids potty trained, Miles decided on his own that he liked peeing on the frog! A green Frog potty chair! so no more diapers at their house and Miles hasnt had an accident at all and this is 2 weeks now no nite diapers either, and he is only 2. he likes doing what big sissy does!

Muice

So I gave Sarah a glass of milk. Then she asked for a glass of juice. Next thing I knew, she was drinking muice. Yuck. On the upside, she has excellent motor skills--didn't spill a drop during preparation.

Potty Camp

This week is potty training week! Today is the first day of potty camp for Andrew. From here on out, it's underwear only--I'm getting my game face on. (Roar).

Lullaby Sarah

I told Andrew that we couldn't go upstairs and play until Sarah went down for a nap. About 5 minutes later, he said, "Sarah wants to take a nap. I'm gonna go lullaby her."
