Protesting In Complete Sentences

Scene: El Paso Zoo with a toddler who relishes his newfound ability to protest in complete sentences (or more accurately, variations of one sentence) . . .

Sue Ann: Andrew, look! A deer!

Andrew: I don't want the deer.

Dave: Andrew, look at that bird. He's standing on one foot!

Andrew: I don't want the bird!

Dave: Andrew, look at the bear! Do you want to see the bear?

Andrew: I don't want the bear!!

Sue Ann: Andrew do you see the Tiger?

Andrew: Idon'twantthetiger!!

Sue Ann (exasperated): Andrew, what DO you want?

Andrew: I don't want the WANT!!!
