Yesterday, the Fort Bliss Fire Department brought one of their trucks to Andrew's school for a Fire Safety Awareness Program. They suited up for the kids and taught them how to Stop, Drop and Roll. They also brought their "dog", Sparky. As far as Andrew was concerned, all this translated into, "Firetruck! Doggy!! Tumbling!!!" In the pictures, however, he doesn't seem quite as excited about the suited-up fireman.
Ms. Blanca said he had a great time. The school didn't notify parents about the Fire Safety Awareness visit, which was probably good because Sue Ann would have been hiding in the bushes with her big paparazzi camera. Creepy!
Andrew's not too sure about the fireman.

The woman to the far left is Ms. Blanca, Andrew's teacher. The boy in the red, white and blue jacket is Sean, Andrew's good friend.
