Things I'm learning from my toddler: 1. the word "no" actually means "yes, but only on my own terms." 2. All things are urgent and must be conveyed in a tight, high-pitched tone of voice. 3. "I can't do it" means "you're paying too much attention to my sister." 4. "d@%%*t!" means "I am, in fact, listening to you, despite evidence to the contrary." 5. And, most importantly, Curious George band-aids are awesome!
