We hope everybody had a wonderful holiday season. Ours was pretty good. Christmas Day was excellent; Daddy was off work, nobody was sick and it was a beautiful day in the Big Elp. Andrew didn't show any interest in unwrapping gifts, but he loved playing with his new toys once they were unwrapped (Fortunately, we had been lazy this year and didn't wrap many of his gifts, anyway). Sarah was just content to watch the commotion. She's become quite interested in her big brother and his noisy endeavors.
New Year's Day was . . . a little less fun. We'll skip the details and just say that the children were sick and daycare/pre-school was closed for the holidays. Both kids are doing well, though. Sarah is still sick but seems healthier by the day. And, by the way, school re-opens tomorrow (hallelujah!)
All in all, we had a great holiday and hope you guys did, too.
