8 hours down, 3 to go. We've exhausted The Backyardigans, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Elmo. I finally had to get out the big guns: Toy Story. Mesmerizes them both everytime. What did we do in the car b/f DVD players? Oh yea, we looked at stuff and kicked the seat in front of us . . .

Kristy Benoit In my car, there is no DVD player. We usually play "guess my animal". one person chooses an real adult (not imaginary or baby) animal and the other players ask yes no questions until someone guesses the animal. Stuff like "does it walk on four legs" or "is it kept as a pet" and so on... The winner gets to pick the next animal. The cool part is ...

Hollie Wood Blair Hmmm. My dad used to quiz me on multiplication, or made me play my guitar, made me say the notes to different guitar chords, more math, counting cows, finding A thr Z on license plates, singing, etc.... our kids are definitely spoiled!!

Benjamin L. Richards I think this might be a tad location specific ... We use to count oil wells. Hey, you could probably beat our record :-)
